Serving Laurel since 2004.

Tampico Grill opened in March 2004, but the foundation was built long before that. Eduardo and Hector spent years working in Tex-Mex kitchens across the region – mastering the craft, understanding what made a great restaurant run, and building the kind of experience that only comes from years on the line. When they decided it was time to open their own place, they came ready.

And when they opened the doors, they didn't hire just a team – they built one from home. Eduardo brought his five kids. Hector brought his two. Together, two brothers and seven children put everything they had into Washington Boulevard.

Over two decades later, Tampico is part of the fabric of this community. We've served first dates and anniversary dinners. We've fed construction crews and company lunches and families celebrating everything from quinceañeras to graduations. We've watched kids grow up and bring their own kids in.

The salsas are still homemade. The guacamole is still made fresh every day. The fajitas still sizzle when they hit the table.

A lot of restaurants have come and gone in Laurel since 2004. Tampico is still here – same building, same recipes, same commitment.
